Opportunity:

Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician

Job Details:

* Test blood, body fluids, and tissue samples to aid in diagnosis of diseases and medical conditions
* Process lab tests for hospital inpatients and emergency room patients 24 hours a day
* Perform testing on outpatient and clinic specimens
* Work with Epic laboratory information system
* Conduct antibody identification procedures
* Perform emergency blood banking procedures
* Operate Ortho Vitros 5600 equipment
* ASCP, AMT, or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician certification required
* Previous experience with Epic, antibody IDs, emergency blood banking, and Ortho Vitros 5600 required
* Work in CLIA-licensed and CAP-accredited laboratory environment
