Open Position: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift
* Call required 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend
* Late team rotation 1-2 times per week, requiring staff to remain until late procedures are completed
* Assist physicians with heart catheterization procedures, peripheral procedures, pacemakers, and ablations
* Monitor patient vitals and complete charting during procedures
* Perform and support ablations, device implants, and EP procedures
* Utilize equipment including MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas, and Carto
* Chart using EPIC electronic health record system
* Minimum 2 years of scrub tech and sterile technique experience required
* Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures required
* EP procedure experience preferred
* EPIC experience required
* RCIS certification required; ARRT or CRT certifications accepted if candidate is cross-trained to scrub
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
* Sanford issued scrubs provided

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a dedicated cardiovascular invasive services department equipped with 3 catheterization labs. The department provides comprehensive cardiac care including heart catheterization procedures, peripheral interventions, device implants, and electrophysiology procedures. The facility utilizes advanced cardiovascular technology and equipment to support a full range of interventional cardiac services, and features EPIC as its primary charting system.
