Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend
* Patient ratios of 1:3 on days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to like assignments throughout the hospital, potentially to Liberty campus
* Level IV NICU experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Ventilator and trach experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Ohio single state or compact license required
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS
* Copy of certifications required in submission profile
* Supervisor reference within past 2 years required
* Care for neonates and infants with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
* Manage patient diagnoses including Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Prematurity of the Neonate, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Pulmonary Hypertension, and more
* Operate special equipment including Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Ram Cannula, Bubble CPAP, EVD, Shunts, G-tubes, Trachs, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Arterial Lines, Peritoneal Dialysis, Oscillators, and Bili Lights and Blankets
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

Facility:

This facility is home to a Level IV NICU, the highest level of neonatal care available, specializing in high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions of the neonate. The unit consists of 90 beds with a daily census of 81 and includes a regional high acuity Fetal Care Center. The facility maintains a high volume of intubated and critically ill infants and is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
