Opportunity:

Cardiac Catheter Lab / Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Case load of 7 cases per day
* Call requirements: 9 shifts per month - Monday through Thursday call from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM; 1 weekend per month with Friday 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays
* Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics
* Treat patients with cardiovascular diseases
* Perform cardiac catheterizations, PPM implants, and peripheral angiographies
* Operate equipment including Philips X-ray, Impella, balloon pump, and Acist injector
* Chart using EPIC and Merge systems
* Float within skillset as required; ratios vary based on census and staffing
* 1 year of clinical experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, and either ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
* State license required along with ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Lab equipped with advanced technology to support a wide range of cardiovascular procedures. The unit maintains 3 procedure rooms and 8 beds, supporting a daily census of 7 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support, ensuring comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
