Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts beginning at 7:30 AM with required call shifts
* Required call every 3rd week Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday
* Saturday and Sunday shifts during call week also require reporting for pending inpatients
* Weekend on-call required with rotational on-call for holidays
* 30-minute response time required for call shifts
* Single modality position; not expected to cover CT or X-Ray duties
* Perform MSK, Neuro, and Body scans for both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and hospital settings
* Perform IV starts and Creatinine draws
* Average of 10 scans/studies per day
* May float between two campuses located 16 minutes apart as needed
* May be asked to precept as needed by the unit
* Experience with Philips and/or Siemens equipment required; 1.5T equipment experience required
* Experience with Meditech and Synapse PACS systems
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR), and Medical Radiologic Technologist licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
* Minimum 7 years of MRI experience required
* Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
* Acute care setting

Facility:

This healthcare organization operates multiple campuses and provides comprehensive radiology and MRI services in both hospital and clinic settings. The facility features 1-2 MRI scanners per location and has radiologists on-site at hospital locations to support diagnostic imaging needs. The department supports a wide range of imaging studies for inpatient and outpatient populations, maintaining high standards of care across all locations.
