Opportunity:

RN - Behavioral Health

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 4x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* No set days of the week
* Possible on-call requirements
* Works across 2 behavioral health units: Behavioral Medicine Unit (BMU) with a 1:5 patient ratio and Medical Health Unit (MHU) with a 1:6 patient ratio and 21 beds
* Maximum of 10 patients on unit
* Works alongside Mental Health Technicians (MHT)
* Adult psychiatric patient population
* Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinates care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and effective care
* Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the field required
* BSN preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), TEAM, or TEAM-A
* Current RN licensure in the state of practice required
