Opportunity:

Surgical Technologist - OR

Job Details:

* 8 to 10 hour day shifts from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM
* Rotating call required 1 to 2 days per week and every 3 to 4 weekends
* May need to stay late as needed as an extension of the regular shift
* Primary focus on neuro cases including craniotomies and spine procedures
* Will also assist with orthopedic, ENT, plastics, general, and some trauma cases
* Perform surgical and operating room duties to assist surgeons and healthcare team members in providing effective surgical care
* Work within a facility of 25 OR suites averaging 75 to 100 cases per day
* Potential to float to other campus locations
* Experience with robotic systems required
* Experience with Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, or Stryker total replacement systems required; experience in at least one of these systems is required
* Charting completed using EPIC
* Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
* Must badge in and out at facility
* 2+ years of surgical technologist experience required
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Experience working in a large acute care facility with more than 15 OR suites required
* Strong neuro experience with a focus on craniotomies and spine required
* Strong orthopedic experience required
* Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start; must show proof of initiation of application process within 3 business days of acceptance of offer
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required
