Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
* Recovery Room unit with 30 beds
* Patient ratios of 1 RN to 2 patients, or 1 RN to 1 patient depending on case
* Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 12 nurses
* On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Flexibility with hours preferred
* Perform recovery room care following procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
* Strong patient experience focus required
* Must demonstrate a great attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure

This full-service medical center operates a 30-bed recovery room unit supported by experienced nursing staff across both day and night shifts. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and handles a diverse range of surgical cases including craniotomies and orthopedic procedures.
