Open Position: RAD Tech - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* ARRT certification must be in hand at time of submittal - this is a hard stop requirement
* Must be STEMI ready to apply
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a STEMI/PCI facility required
* On-call required - one weekday call per week and every 5th weekend call
* Weekend call coverage: two weekends per 13-week contract (Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)
* One night of call required per week; holiday call may apply for summer or winter holidays
* Average daily census of 25-30 patients across 7 rooms
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* EMR system: Epic (experience required)
* Work setting includes both outpatient and inpatient environments
* Float to EP lab as needed if Cath Lab/IR cases are low (for those with EP experience)
* Procedures include: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, and EKG lead placement
* IABP and Impella training required
* General skills required: IV starts, EKGs
* Preferred equipment experience: Siemens and Phillips
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, ARRT
* ODH License required
* Scrubs are provided
* No locals accepted within 50-mile radius
* No block scheduling
* Floating to other units and/or facilities as needed is an expectation for all travelers

Facility:

This facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab specializing in neuro, vascular, structural heart procedures, and CTOs. The unit supports a full range of diagnostic invasive testing and interventional procedures, with an average daily census of 25-30 patients across 7 dedicated procedure rooms. The facility provides a dynamic environment for experienced Cath Lab and IR professionals, with specialty support and access to advanced cardiac intervention equipment.
