Opportunity:

Associate Caregiver Health RN - Outpatient Clinic RN

Job Details:

* Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (schedule may change during flu season with hours as early as 6:00 AM and as late as 7:00 PM)
* Weekend shifts most likely not required
* At least 1 year of nursing experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, COHNS
* Charting system experience required; Epic charting system used
* RN scrub color: Solid Royal Blue
* Free parking available
* Float required between sister facilities, including St. Joseph Eureka and Redwood Memorial (Redwood Memorial two Wednesdays per month)
* Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses focused on employee health clinic needs
* Special procedures include health screenings, fit testing, vaccinations, injury/illness prevention evaluation, and communicable disease exposure management
* Special equipment includes CAPR training and Portacount (training provided)
* Required skills include: AED, cardiac arrest/CPR, immunizations, intradermal/intramuscular/subcutaneous injections, TB skin testing, telephone triage, vital signs, occupational health, medication refills, nebulizer treatments, urgent care, vision testing, workman's comp/injury reporting, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, submitted during compliance process prior to start

This acute care hospital features 200 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services to its community. The facility operates an outpatient clinic environment with robust interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit secretarial staff. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic as its electronic charting system to support clinical operations across multiple sister facilities in the region.
