Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

* Work evening shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, Wednesday through Friday
* Three 12-hour shifts per week
* Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
* Position and instruct patients prior to examination
* Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph
* Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
* Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
* Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
* Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
* Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
* Report important information to the physician and verify exams on PACS
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required
* Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
