Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Patient ratios of 1:5 on both day and night shifts, varies between units
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
* Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Chemo Certification preferred, would allow scheduling on Oncology unit
* Work with a large cardiac population across two Telemetry floors and a PCU
* Perform varied procedures across units with floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
* Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units
* Work alongside RNs and CNAs on most shifts
* Must be a team player with compassion for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions

This facility is a 345-bed, 3-time Magnet designated hospital offering a high standard of patient care across a wide range of medical specialties. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and maintains a large float pool of approximately 80 staff members. The organization fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, with staff working together across units to provide comprehensive care for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions.
