745C Sleep Disorder Lab - Polysomnographic Tech

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 13-week assignment
* Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required
* Prepare adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing
* Monitor polysomnograms and document per policy
* Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations required
* Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
* Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
* Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
* Required certification: AHA BLS
* Must possess current and unrestricted certification or registration as a Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
* No local candidates within 50 miles considered
