Opportunity:

Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (occasional 8:30 AM rotations); 4x10 schedule cannot be accommodated
* Rotating weekends, 1 in every 4
* May be asked to float between main campus and a small campus approximately 3 miles away, as well as other network facilities as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be a registered echo tech cardiac sonographer with ARDMS RDCS (AE) or CCI RCS certification
* BLS certification required
* GE and/or Philips equipment experience required
* Experience with 3D strain image enhancing required
* TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram) and Stress Echo experience required
* Endo TE experience required
* Definity and bubble study experience required
* Impella checks, LVAD, and Ramp experience preferred
* Experience with 2D Echo, 3D Echo, Color Doppler, M-Mode, PACS, and portable studies required
* Primarily performs inpatient echocardiograms in an inpatient setting
* Patients include adult and geriatric age groups
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Facility:

This healthcare network operates multiple campuses, providing a wide range of cardiac and diagnostic imaging services to the community. The facility supports inpatient echocardiography with access to advanced imaging technology and a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. Travelers may be assigned to float between campuses as needed to support patient care across the organization.
