Opportunity:

Med/Surg Telemetry - RN

Job Details:

* 3x12 day shifts with every other weekend requirement
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* 2+ years of RN experience required
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience required
* Patient ratio of 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
* Block scheduling - unit cannot guarantee schedule requests but will try to accommodate travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, PALS
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, colostomy/ileostomy management, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube care and management, heparin and insulin administration, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), nasal cannula and oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, PCA management, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drain management, telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote), tracheostomy care, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
