Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit caring for med/surg patients
* Patient ratio of maximum 6:1, with ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time required
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 1 PCA
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 1 PCA
* Rotating weekends as needed for travel RNs
* Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, and EHR documentation
* Communicate effectively with all members of the care team
* Float to med/surg units as needed
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Use standard unit equipment
* Acute med/surg experience of 1+ years within the last year required
* Acute med/surg experience of 2+ years within the last year preferred
* Ortho or neuro-surgery background preferred; Med/Surg/Telemetry background will suffice
* RN certification required
* Dress code: scrubs
