Open Position: RN - Rehab Inpatient

Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required
* Patient ratio of 5-7:1
* Float to other Med/Surg departments as needed
* Med/Surg or PCU experience required
* Rehab experience preferred
* BLS certification required
* Virginia nursing license required
* Perform medication administration including IVs, PICC, and PEG tube administration
* Perform bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheterization, bladder irrigation, and blood administration
* Work with equipment including vitals machines, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners
* Document using Meditech system
* Dress code requires solid navy blue or white scrubs
* Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiatrist, physician assistant, and neuropsychologist

Facility:

This inpatient rehabilitation facility operates a 35-bed unit focused on helping patients achieve functional independence and meet their rehabilitation goals. The unit is supported by technicians based on census, typically 2-4 per shift, and offers a collaborative, multi-disciplinary care environment. The facility provides an opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes and functional independence.
