RN - Mother Baby

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 36 or 48 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans with interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and compassionate environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment teams
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS), AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
