Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM or 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM based on scheduler assignment
* No block scheduling - schedule managed by facility scheduler
* Weekend requirement varies per need
* Holiday requirement varies per need
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Day shift ratio 1:4, night shift ratio 1:5
* Charge nurse on each shift with a 1:10 ratio
* Nurse aides and patient care techs available at a 1:10 ratio
* May float to ER for 1:1 patient sitting assignments
* Scrub color required: Navy Blue
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas
* Orientation includes classroom orientation and one 12-hour shift on the floor
* Pass/fail open book exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90% required to pass
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS
* ACLS preferred
* Driver's license required at submittal
* Radius rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
* Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
* Requested time off must be submitted upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract
