Opportunity:
CVOR - Scrub Tech / RN (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Job Details:
* Weekend coverage runs Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday
* On-call required with variable scheduling typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5 to 6 weeks
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to Main OR as needed
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required; unit accepts first-time travelers
* Patient ratio is 1:1 during day shifts
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services and interpretation services
* No self-scheduling; unit does not honor block schedules and does not accept travel pairs
* If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work them; if three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site
* Maximum of 7 days of RTO per contract
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
