L&D RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend required
* On-call required: 2 twelve-hour shifts per 6-week period
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP
* Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE
* Epic charting system experience required
* Fetal monitoring experience using Philips Intellispace required
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Scrubs provided (Navy Surgical Scrubs)
* Parking is free with pass distributed at start
* Some level of comfort with couplet care or transition nursery preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Self-scheduling
* 36 orientation hours
* Block scheduling available upon manager approval based on unit needs
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This acute care hospital provides comprehensive labor and delivery services with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes advanced technology including Epic for charting, Philips Intellispace for fetal monitoring, and Omnicell for medication management, ensuring a high standard of patient care for obstetric patients and newborns.
