Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required with high acuity postpartum experience
* Float required between Issaquah Campus (Postpartum) and Edmonds Campus (Postpartum), including Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery
* 6 weekend days required per contract
* Standard patient ratio of 4 couplets with ability to manage a 4th couplet during census surge
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* Epic charting system experience required - hard stop requirement
* High Risk Obstetric care experience required
* Required clinical skills and experience: Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Foley catheter, Postpartum hemorrhage management, substance withdrawal, Cesarean section care, episiotomy/incision care, fundus/lochia/perineum care, and vaginal delivery
* JADA experience preferred
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities - refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Patient age groups include infants and adults
* Facility daily census of 45 with 57 beds and 57 rooms
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary

This is a large volume, high census facility specializing in High Risk Obstetric patient care with a diverse patient population. The unit focuses on postpartum treatment following delivery and manages complex obstetric cases. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and is equipped to handle a wide range of maternal and newborn care needs.
