Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour day shifts per week
* Weekend coverage required
* No call or float required
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Charting system experience required; Epic system used
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Common patient diagnoses include UTI, pneumonia, respiratory failure/COPD, sepsis, AKI, chest pain, cellulitis, and altered mental status
* Required skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of cardiac drips (no titration), management of dysrhythmias, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care/management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
* One pre-approved time off request permitted
* State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

This facility is a well-supported medical-surgical and telemetry unit with 36 beds and a daily census of 30 patients. The unit benefits from a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services, ensuring comprehensive patient care across a wide range of diagnoses.
