Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
