Opportunity:

Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Details:

* 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 shifts per week
* Weekend schedule can be discussed with manager
* On-call required
* Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred
* Additional Cath/EP experience sought as candidates may be floated
* Required certifications: ARRT, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and Florida state license
* RCIS certification preferred in addition to required certifications
* Must be experienced with EPIC charting system
* Scrub color: Ceil Blue
* May float within scope to meet facility needs
* May be required to float to all three sister hospitals within a 20-mile radius
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation
* Locals accepted at same rate
* Pending licenses not accepted
* Skills required include: Adrenal Angiography, Angioplasty, Aortography, Chemoembolization, Embolization, ERCP, IVC filter placement and removal, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Stent Placement, Thoracentesis, Nephrostomy, Gastrostomy, Uterine Arterial Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, Vascular Closure Systems, room circulator, and maintaining sterile field
* Patient age groups include young adults, middle adults, and older adults
* 2 references from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director required
* EKG and Pharm tests required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
* Required modules must be completed prior to start date
* Strict no call-in policy in effect
