Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Neuro Trauma

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
* Active nursing license required at time of submission
* Work on a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit on the 4th floor
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day shift staffing includes 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides; Night shift staffing includes 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides
* Work with equipment including bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, and subdural drains
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
* Telemetry and step-down experience required
* Neuro and trauma experience preferred
* Team-oriented personality a strong fit for this unit
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
* Scrubs required with no specific color, professional attire expected
* Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED
* Every other weekend required; no on-call requirement
