Opportunity:
Travel-RN-Labor and Delivery
Job Details:
* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment
* LDRP unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 7 beds with a minimum of 3 staff members per shift
* Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech
* Patient ratios follow AWHONN acuity staffing guidelines
* Work with GE Centricity Perinatal equipment and EPIC EMR system
* Perform typical procedures including induction of labor, vaginal delivery, C-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum care, D&C, vaginal repair, NST, IUFD, steroid injections, and external cephalic version
* Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience required
* AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
* Labor triage experience required
* OR circulator experience required (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair, etc.)
* Newborn resuscitation experience required (attending delivery for low-risk newborns)
* IUPC/FSE placement experience preferred
* Experience assisting with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
* May float to PCT role during low census periods
* Weekends scheduled as needed to fill unit needs
* On-call not required but available
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs provided
