Opportunity:

MFM Diagnostic Sonographer

Job Details:

* 4x8 day shift schedule totaling 32 hours per week
* Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM, 7:15 AM, and 7:30 AM
* Shift end times vary between 3:30 PM, 3:45 PM, and 4:00 PM
* Weekend rotation required approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks
* No on-call requirements
* Daily caseload of approximately 45 visits per day
* Guaranteed contracted hours
* Will float between two sites as needed
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Local candidates not accepted - candidate cannot live within 50 miles of either facility
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue for Ultrasound Technologists
* Free parking available at both locations
* Required certifications: BLS, RVT, and ARDMS credentialing in Abdomen, OBGYN, Pediatric, or MSK (multiple ARDMS specialties preferred)
* Vascular experience required, including arterial ultrasounds with bypass grafts and stents
* Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program, Associate of Applied Science Degree, or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited ultrasound program required
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Facility:

This healthcare organization operates both an outpatient clinic and a full-service acute care hospital, providing a wide range of diagnostic and specialty services across multiple locations. The acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center with 479 staffed beds, supported by an interdisciplinary team including radiology, pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. The outpatient clinic complements the hospital by offering specialized diagnostic imaging services in a dedicated ambulatory setting.
