Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts in a 34-bed Emergency Department
* Every 4th weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 4:1 with a mixed patient population
* Experience with drips and titrations required
* Scrub colors: Black, Navy Blue, Caribbean Blue (solids only)
* May float to Marion ED freestanding campus
* Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
* 24 months of Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience required
* Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Iowa nursing license (active) or compact/multistate license required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA/ARC), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
* De-escalation certification (CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA) highly preferred and must be obtained during onboarding if not currently certified
* Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room/Emergency Department required
* Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
* Valid driver's license required
