Job Details:
* 4x10 shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Weekend coverage required
* On-call required: 14-15 days of call in a 6-week period
* Call hours are 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays and 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday for weekends on a rotation per call team
* Must live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call; no on-site call accommodations available
* Maximum of 1 request for time off during assignment
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Minimum of 8 cases seen per day with approximately 280 cases performed per month
* Work in a procedural area treating vascular, cardiac, and pain management patients across 4 procedure rooms
* Perform procedures including cardiac catheterizations (with and without intervention), STEMI response, vascular procedures (port placement, thrombectomy, peripheral vascular), cardiac rhythm device implantation (temp/perm pacemakers, ICDs), cardioversion/TEE, EP studies, and pain management procedures (RF ablation, steroid injections)
* STEMIs run 8-12 per month with a 4-person STEMI call team always on standby
* Work with a team of 2-3 teams of four during the day and a team of 4 on call
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Preferred skills include pacemaker experience, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Special equipment includes Philips and Siemens Fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Charting system experience required
* Block scheduling not available; floating within or to sister facilities not required
Facility:
This facility features a high-volume interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization department equipped with state-of-the-art Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites. The procedural area operates four specialized rooms dedicated to cardiac catheterizations, device implantations, EP studies, pain management procedures, and peripheral vascular angiography. The department is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care across a wide range of complex procedures.
