Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Day shift position
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for medical diagnosis
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy in addition to CT
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Required certifications: ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor
* R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) registration required
* Advanced Certification in CT modality required
* Fluoroscopy license in state of employment preferred
* Venipuncture certification preferred
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
