Pharmacist

Job Details:

* 7 days on, 7 days off schedule running Wednesday through Tuesday
* 10-hour shifts with 5.5 hours working independently alongside a pharmacy technician
* Pharmacy is staffed 24 hours with five staff pharmacists throughout the day (AM: 3, PM: 1, Night: 1)
* Must have technician management experience
* Required experience with Pyxis, CIISafe, and VigiLanz software
* Documentation systems include Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis, and VigiLanz
* Dress code is business casual or hospital-provided scrubs
* BLS/ALS preferred but not required
* Clinical activities include consult services such as warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, and insulin management
* Perform drug information services and intervention management through VigiLanz software
* Support nursing and physician teams through a customer-first approach

Facility:

This facility is a full-service medical center offering a very wide variety of specialized services including NICU, ICU, OR, three emergency departments, inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient acute detox, behavioral health, and a Level II Trauma Center. The pharmacy department is supported by an experienced team of pharmacists with an average tenure of approximately 7 years, along with a highly skilled group of technicians.
