Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Work in a Radiology PACU setting, recovering patients from procedures requiring sedation or anesthesia
* Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
* Epic charting system experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS
* Required skills include: airway assessment, Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery, Pedi PACU, conscious sedation, extubation, management of pediatric patients, pain management, central line care and management, PICC line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and placement of oral/nasal airways
* MRI safety training will be provided
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
