Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week
* Schedule includes weekdays and every other weekend
* Float within scope may be required if necessary
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* 15-bed unit providing intermediate level care for Priority 2 transfers from the ICU
* Patient population includes adult and pediatric surgical and vascular clients requiring close cardiac monitoring
* Patient ratio of 1:3
* Cardiac telemetry/telemetry experience required
* Post TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) designated unit
* Experience with Post CEA and Post Femoral Popliteal Bypass patient population required
* Invasive line monitoring, including arterial pressures and central venous pressures
* Transvenous pacemaker and chest tube management required
* Critical medication administration required
* Respiratory ventilation management required
* Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA); PALS preferred but not required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
* Charting system: Cerner
* WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
* Holiday RTO requests limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
* Blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, serving as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, the facility offers a high level of patient care across a wide range of specialties. The unit features a new monitoring system with invasive monitoring capabilities, supporting comprehensive cardiac and surgical patient care. Free parking is available for travelers.
