Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Patient ratio is 4:1 on PCU patients
* Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Overtime available for those who want it
* Block schedules cannot be guaranteed but preferred schedules will be accommodated when possible
* Wide variety of cardiac and respiratory patients with fluctuating acuity
* Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons
* Utilize nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
* Manage conflict using professional communication skills to contribute to a healthy workplace environment
* Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
* Participate in continuing education
* Maintain complete and accurate medical records
* Current Illinois Registered Nurse license required
* Current CPR/BLS certification required
* ACLS certification required
