Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend and holiday scheduling required
* Patient ratio of 4:1 on PCU patients
* No on-call requirements
* Overtime available for those who want it
* Block schedules cannot be guaranteed but preferred schedules will be accommodated when possible
* Care for a wide variety of cardiac and respiratory patients with fluctuating acuity
* Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
* Utilize nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
* Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
* Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
* Participate in continuing education
* Maintain complete and accurate medical records
* Required certifications: BLS/CPR, ACLS
* Current Illinois Registered Nurse license required
