Job Details:

* Work day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Scrub surgical technologist role in a main operating room environment with 23 ORs
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Perform and assist with elective surgical cases including orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, GYN, robotics, and urology procedures
* No trauma cases - elective cases only
* On-call is required with a 30-minute response time
* Second call required on some weekends with possibility of first call for 1-2 shifts
* Minimum 6 months of current acute care CST hospital experience required
* NBSTSA and DORA certifications required
* BLS certification required
* Ortho/spine and cardiovascular experience preferred
* Must utilize EMR systems Meditech and CPN
* Flexible and patient care-focused personality preferred

Facility:

This facility features a main operating room unit with 23 ORs and a team of approximately 70 staff members. The OR department operates on day shift and focuses exclusively on elective surgical cases, offering a collaborative teamwork environment. The unit handles a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology procedures, providing a dynamic and well-rounded surgical experience.
