Registered Nurse Position

Job Details:

* Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge through use of the nursing process
* Responsible for assessment of patient needs and development of care plans to meet those needs
* Implement nursing measures and evaluate effectiveness of nursing care and treatment measures
* Report to Unit Director/Manager or in their absence to Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator
* Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required
* Must maintain current Pennsylvania RN license
* BLS certification through American Heart Association required and must renew every two years
* Function effectively as team member and liaison between patients and staff
* Demonstrate strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
* Maintain professional communication and attitude at all times
* Show high level of mental and emotional tolerance when dealing with patients, families, and co-workers
* Use tact, sensitivity, and sound judgment in all professional interactions
