Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* 13 or 26 week contracts available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred
* Staffing ratio of 1:1-3
* Care for patient age groups including adolescents, infants, and adults
* Patient diagnoses include labor and preterm labor
* Unit includes 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
* Responsibilities include circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor and delivery
* Required procedures include blood and blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
* Must be able to attend all deliveries including high risk deliveries
* Additional responsibilities include GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
* Float may be required to post-partum and potentially labor and delivery at a sister facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The organization supports interdisciplinary care and utilizes Epic as its charting system to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care across its network of facilities.
