Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Perform CT procedures in accordance with department protocol under the direction of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor
* Work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Perform a variety of technical procedures including interventional cases, CT Angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction
* Apply ionizing radiation using the ALARA principle for CT diagnosis
* Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast to patients
* Acquire scans according to radiologist and department protocol
* Inform patients of exam and provide instruction to ensure patient cooperation
* Assist radiologist during interventional procedures
* Coordinate daily workload by scheduling inpatients and prioritizing emergency department patients
* Review IV Contrast Questionnaire with patients receiving IV contrast
* Complete documentation in Epic EMR
* Review exams in PACS for completeness prior to submitting to radiologist
* Maintain equipment, proper supplies, and a clean and organized work area
* Flexible to assist with 24/7 coverage of the department including on-call, holidays, and weekends
* Minimal holidays and back-up call required
* Follow dress code policy and maintain HIPAA compliance
* Knowledge of CT Scan software; GE and Siemens preferred
* Knowledge of PACS software; McKesson Change Healthcare preferred
* Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record; Epic preferred
* Current ARRT certification required
* ARRT CT Registry eligible preferred
* NH Imaging License required
* BLS Certification required
* Minimum CT Scan experience required
