Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 shift option available, day shifts
* Minimum 1 year of inpatient Med/Surg experience required
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to units of equal or lesser acuity
* Med/Surg patient population serving adults and geriatrics
* Telemetry monitored in a centralized unit
* Free floating charge nurse on unit
* House discharge nurse that floats across all departments
* Required certification: BLS
* Charting system: Epic (recent experience within 6 months required)
* Required skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, peripheral line care/management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* 45-bed unit with a daily census of 37
