Opportunity:

CNA - Critical Care/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Rotating schedule including rotating weekends
* Primary placement in Critical Care Unit (ICU & Telemetry) with potential coverage on Acute Care unit as units are being combined
* No specific scrub color required
* Perform tasks associated with activities of daily living including assisting with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints, and restorative care
* Perform technical skills including pyloric, jejunostomy, and gastrostomy tube feedings, warm and cold therapies, and finger stick capillary blood testing
* Take vital signs including pulse and blood pressure
* Assist patients with basic needs including bathing, dressing, and feeding
* Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports as appropriate
* Provide assessment data to certified nurse within the scope of practice
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Required certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Preferred certifications: Phlebotomy Certification, Audiometry and Vision Training or CHDP Certificate
