Job Details:
* 8-hour day shifts with 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM start times
* Weekend coverage required with variable weekend shifts, approximately once per month
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if requisite job specifications are met
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 28 operating rooms
* Must be able to both scrub and circulate
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Previous travel assignment required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Previous charge experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certifications: CNOR
* Perform and assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including:
- Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) and Craniotomy procedures
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
- Plastic Surgery
- Dental Surgery
- Combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
- Open and endoscopic surgical cases
- Free flap reconstructive procedures
* Experience with liver transplant, kidney transplant, neurosurgery, spine, and vascular procedures preferred
* Da Vinci Xi Robot experience preferred
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Diagnoses include appendicitis, cholestasis, hernia, obesity, ureteral obstruction, thyroid cancer, liver cancer, and kidney cancer
* Special procedures include laparoscopic cases, robotic cases, open belly cases, and cystoscopies
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* 40-hour orientation
* Up to two pre-approved time-off requests allowed
