Opportunity:

Oncology Clinic RN

Job Details:

* Work 4x10 shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
* No weekends or holidays required
* Float among clinics as needed within skillset
* Nurses are partnered with a specific tumor group that sees patients for exams on specific days of the week
* Care for adult oncology patients in an outpatient/ambulatory clinic setting
* 1 year of outpatient oncology experience required
* Ambulatory care experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, OCN
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* Business casual dress code; scrubs are acceptable
* Key skills include: accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, care and management of ports, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, monitoring chemotherapy, oral administration of chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, BMT, stem cell therapies, hospice care, leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma/non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, isolation precautions/PPE, recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values, and patient/family education and support

Facility:

This outpatient oncology clinic provides specialized cancer care services in an ambulatory setting, offering comprehensive treatment and support for patients across a range of oncology diagnoses. The facility partners nurses with specific tumor groups to ensure consistent, specialized patient care and supports an interdisciplinary approach to oncology treatment. The clinic is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
