Opportunity:

ICU - Rotating - Open to 1 RN for Days and 1 RN for Nights

Job Details:

* Rotating schedule available for both day and night shifts
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Weekend coverage required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Active PA or Compact license required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* 10-bed unit with up to 8 patient visits per day
* Patient diagnoses include Medical ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, and Substance Withdrawal
* Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, CVVHD/CRRT, ECMO, ICP monitoring, pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring, ventilator management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, traumatic brain injury management, post-craniotomy and post-neurosurgery care, and more
* Special procedures include CRRT and prone positioning
* Special equipment includes CRRT, arterial lines, and Swan lines
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* Two supervisor references preferred
* Pre-approved time off: two instances allowed
