Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Call required as needed, approximately 1 week's worth of call over a 12-17 week contract
* On-call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday within the call rotation
* Patient population includes Adults and Geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 3:1
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* EPIC experience required (CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring)
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required
* ARRT or CCI certification preferred
* Must be able to scrub and perform EKG lead placement
* Perform 25-35 invasive cath procedures per day including Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and Left and Right heart catheterization
* Cardiac interventions and adjunct therapies including CSI atherectomy, IMPELLA, IABP, ACIST, OCT, LHC, RHC, Swan, IVUS, Angiojet, and radial/ulnar/femoral access
* EP lab procedures including devices, ablation, and EP studies
* PV lab procedures including fistula, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, thrombectomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and conscious sedation
* Patient diagnoses include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, irregular rhythms, and abnormal electrical function of the heart
* Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
* Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed
* Active license must be in hand at submission
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
* One pre-approved time off request allowed; must be submitted with application
