Job Details:
* Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
* Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests
* Participate in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician
* Perform standard assessments using basic equipment
* Administer medications requiring visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
* Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Meet patient safety standards as outlined in the job analysis form
* Interact positively with team members and patients while respecting patient culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care
* Accept constructive criticism and channel emotional reactions in a positive manner
* Active New Hampshire RN license required or eligibility to obtain one
* Bachelor's degree preferred; graduation from an approved School of Nursing required
* BLS certification required
* ACLS certification required
* Clinical experience preferred
* Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
* Certification in specialty preferred
* Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
