Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts rotating between 7:30 AM?3:00 PM, 7:30 AM?4:00 PM, and 8:00 AM?4:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* No on-call requirements
* 2 years of Mammography Tech experience required
* Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required
* Required licenses: ARRT and NV State License
* Required certifications: BLS
* Produce diagnostic mammograms and assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures
* Must be proficient in operating mammography equipment and hospital computer systems
* Provide care for adult and geriatric patients based on physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety standards
* May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
* Required to work 2 or 3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
* Schedule may vary and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts

Facility:

This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. It is a Level II Trauma Center with stroke accreditation, featuring 800 inpatient beds and 80 emergency room beds, operating at a volume and pace comparable to a Level I Trauma Center. The facility is home to the region's only children's hospital, a robotic surgery institute, advanced brain and nerve care, and comprehensive heart and cancer services. It has pioneered several regional firsts, including the area's first accredited heart failure center, first Institute for Neurosciences, first low-dose CT imaging, first Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, and first dedicated PET/CT scanner and Biplane Angiography technologies.
