Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
* Patient ratios: PICU 1 RN to 1-2 patients; Stepdown 1 RN to 2-3 patients
* Must work 3 weekends in every 6-week schedule
* Float policy includes floating to Pediatrics and NICU
* Required scrub colors: All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops
* Utilize Alaris pumps for patient care
* Document using Cerner electronic health record system
* HUC available 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; tech is shared with PICU
* Perform procedures including IV starts, catheterizations, holding for LPs, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
* Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
* Required certification: PALS
