Opportunity:

RN - Supervisor/Manager Immunotherapy/CHEMO

Job Details:

* Alaska nursing license required at time of submittal
* Minimum 2 years of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy experience required
* Minimum 1 year of supervisor/manager experience required
* 5 years of professional nursing experience required
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred
* Oversee financial performance of assigned departments including setting annual budgets and cost-effective utilization of staff and resources
* Coordinate nursing service orientation for new staff, monitor skills, and provide guidance for new skill development
* Make patient care assignments based on individual patient care requirements, complexity, and staff qualifications
* Revise, implement, and administer nursing services and department-specific policies, procedures, and standards
* Facilitate and participate in quality improvement activities to monitor compliance with high standards of patient care
* Oversee planning, preparation, and approval of staffing schedules
* Manage and evaluate staff performance, recommend awards, and address performance concerns
* Coordinate nursing service activities with other departments and divisions
* Proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word required
* Proficiency as a super user in EHR required
* Proficiency with specialized medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG machines, and gastric and thoracic suction equipment required
* Ability to step into patient care roles as required by changing care needs
* Must comply with dress code requirements
* Flu vaccine required
